It’s not every day you get to spend 6 hours with a super humble and super successful CEO of a fast growing franchise with 200 locations inside and outside America.
The very first thing he talked about was not the companies success but serving on a non profit board. He didn’t say his business accomplishments were going to be etched into his gravestone but literally said, “The spaghetti dinner he throws to raise money to meet needs will be etched into my gravestone.”
Build a great team and everything will keep getting better and better. The higher caliber people surrounding the vision and mission of a company the further and faster it will go. Great companies attract great team members but in the beginning you need to develop talent before you can attract it.
Provide resources and give options. The franchise is doing their homework to bring to the table the best resources for their franchisees. Trial and error is the way to discover what works or not even at the top. You don’t know if something works until you try it out for a while.
